Eligibility Criteria
All the interested candidates must have the following qualification in order to be eligible for this recruitment drive:
Educational Qualification
Category – I Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- Full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline from:
- State Council or Board of Technical Education
- University
- Institution recognized by State/Central Government
Category – II Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
- Full-time Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Humanities (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BCA) from:
- Statutory University/Deemed University (UGC approved)
Age:
- Age limit as per Apprenticeship Rules.
Reservation of Vacancies:
- Reservation guidelines as per Apprentices Act for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
- Certificates must be in Government standard format.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates need an approved OBC(NCL) certificate.
Minimum Physical Standards:
- As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992 and amendments.
Duration of Training:
- One year as per Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

Application Process: IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2024
Follow the following steps to apply for IOCL Recruitment drive:
(I) Read the official Notification: Read the official notification of IOCL Apprentice Recruitment carefully before applying for this drive.
(II) Open NATs Portal: Click on Application link given below or open NATs portal and create an account if you don’t have one already.
(III) Login: Click on login and login to the portal with the credentials created.
(IV) Complete Application Form: Fill all your details correctly & upload documents if required
(V) Upload documents: Upload the documents asked like educational certificates, caste certificate, Signature, passport size photographs etc. The file size and type should be in according to the guidelines.

Salary/ Pay Scale
The salary offered For Technician (Diploma) Apprentice during the training period is ₹10,500 per month and For Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice the salary will be ₹11,500 per month.
Note: Candidates who have already received any apprentice training is not eligible. Also candidates with more than a year of work experience are not eligible for this recruitment drive.
