Eligibility Criteria: GIC Recruitment 2024
All the interested candidates must have the following qualification in order to be eligible for GIC recruitment drive:
(I) Educational Qualification: Candidates with Graduate or Post Graduate degrees in relevant disciplines.
General: Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (General & OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST); Post Graduation/MBA desirable.
Legal: Bachelor’s degree in law with minimum 60% marks (General & OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST); LLM/Experience/Civil/Cyber desirable.
HR: Graduate with minimum 60% marks (General & OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST) AND Post Graduation in HRM/Personnel Management.
Engineering: B.E/B.Tech in Civil/Aeronautical/Marine/Mechanical/Electrical with minimum 60% marks (General & OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST); M.E/MTech/MS/Experience desirable.
Actuary & Insurance: Candidates with Graduate or Post Graduate degrees in any disciplines.
Medical (MBBS): MBBS Degree.
Finance: B.Com Degree.
(II) Age Limit: The minimum age is 21 years & the maximum age is 30 years. The Relaxations for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per government rules are available.
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC)
- Ex-servicemen: As per government rules

Selection Process:
