The Recruitment for Apprenticeship position in Union Bank of India will be held across various states. Candidates can chose to apply for position in their own home states. The Application process start on 28th August 2024 and ends on 17th September 2024. The stipend during the Apprenticeship will be of Rs.15,000/-. A total of 500 vacancies are to be filled during this recruitment process.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be graduated from a recognized University/ Institute.
Age Limit: In order to be eligible for the recruitment candidate must be minimum 20 years & maximum 28 years as on 1st August 2024. However there is age relaxation for few categories that includes:
(1) Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe: 5 years age relaxation.
(2) Other backward classes ( Non-creamy layer): 3 years age relaxation.
(3) Person with disability (PwBD): 10 years age relaxation

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in one of the local languages of the state of application is required.
Medical fitness: Selected candidates should submit medical certificate. These conditions ensure that the candidates are eligible.

selection Process
(I) Online Exam: All candidates are required to take the online test. Exam date and time will be intimated through e-mail.
(II) Document Verification: After passing the exam, age limit, educational qualification, and other documents will be verified.
(III) Shortlisting: After the examination results, the list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the website and further instructions will be given through e-mail.
(IV) Final Selection: The list of final selected candidates will be announced. Bank’s decision will be final.
(V) Training: Selected candidates will be assigned for training in respective district. Regular employment is not guaranteed during the training period.

Important Instructions
(1) Candidates with one year or more experience are not eligible for Apprenticeship.
(2) Candidates should not have previously or currently undergone apprenticeship training in Union Bank of India or any other organization or training as per Apprenticeship Act 1961.
(3) Regular work is not guaranteed on completion of Apprenticeship.
(4) Bank’s decision on all eligibility, selection process etc. will be final.
(5) Incomplete online applications will not be considered and treated as ineligible.
(6) Union Bank of India is not responsible for failure to submit application.
(7) A single candidate should submit only one application. In case of submission of multiple applications only the last application will be considered.
(8) SC/ST candidates should submit Govt recognized caste certificate.
(9) Candidates will not be workers during Apprenticeship, labour laws are not applicable to them.
