The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an Indian Government organization responsible for recruiting staff for various post in different ministries, departments and subordinate offices. It was established in the year 1975. The headquarters are in New Delhi. SSC conducts various exams for group-B and group-C positions available in government departments.

The application process for SSC CGL has started on 24th June 2024 and it will end on 24 July 2024. The no. of vacancies available is 17,727 for Group-B and Group-C positions in multiple departments, ministries and organisations of Government of India, along with different constitutional Bodies and Tribunals.
Check the eligibility criteria carefully before applying. Last date for online fee payment is 25 July, 2024. Date for ‘Window for application correction form is 10th July 2024 to 11 July 2024.

Pay Scale for the SSC CGL is Approximately given below:

SSC CGL Recruitment 2024
The Commission makes the final allotment of posts based on the merit performances given by candidates. Once the post is allocated its final and cannot be changed. The post wise vacancies are made available on the website. Candidates need to note state-wise vacancies are not collected by the commission.
Eligibility criteria For SSC CGL Recruitment:
The Nationality must be either Indian, Subject of Nepal or subject of Bhutan or Person who’s originated in India but has migrated to different country who has intension to permanently settle in India. SSC CGL Recruitment:
Age limit from 1-08-2024 for various post different ages are requirement. Overall age limit 18 to 32 years. The age relaxation for SC/ST-5years, OBC-3years, PwBD(Unreserved)-10years, PwBD(OBC)-13years, PwBD(SC/ST)-15years. The candidates who wish to be considered into this categories must submit the helping document.
The Application fees for all categories is Rs.100/- and for women and SC/ST the fees is exempted.
The information about available exam centre’s is available in the official notification given by the commission. The roll No. and hall tickets will be made available to all the eligible candidates prior to the exam dates.
While entering the exam hall at least two passport size photos and original ID proof along with the hall ticket is necessary.
The Syllabus for the Exam Given below:
The Syllabus for Tier-I Examination consist of General Intelligence and reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension.
for Tier-II its Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning and General Intelligence, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge Module, Data Entry Speed Test Module. for paper-II its Statistics.
After the completion of Exam. Some Post require the selected candidates to have specific physical requirements therefore a physical test and Medical test may be required for the same. These posts are:

- Inspector(Examiner)-CBIC
- Inspector(Preventive Officer)-CBIC
- Inspector-CBN
- Sub-Inspector-CBN, Ministry of Finance
- Sub-Inspector/ Junior Intelligence Officer in NCB, MHA
- Sub-Inspector-CBI
- Sub-Inspector-NIA
