RRC NR Recruitment 2024
The RRC is hiring for the post of Apprentice in Northern Railways India. The training period if got selected will be of 6 months or one years. During this time, you’ll receive hands-on training and practical experience in your chosen trade, preparing you for future employment opportunities. There are total 4086 vacancies available and stipend will be given to candidates during the training period.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: The age limit required in order to be eligible for this recruitment process is minimum15 years and maximum 24 Years as of 16th September 2024.
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the class 10th with at least 50% marks and possess an ITI certificate in a related field from a recognised institution.
Application fees: The Application fees for Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Apprentice Recruitment 2024 is to be paid online through credit card, debit bard or net banking etc, for different categories the fees is given below:
- For General, OBC and EWS candidates -> Rs.100/-
- For SC, ST, PWD, and Female Candidates -> No fees.

Application Process
(1) Visit the official website and click on the application link for the apprentice position or just click on the application link given below in this post.
(2) Register yourself on the platform by filling up the details. On successful registration a login Id and password will be generated.
(3) login using the credentials and complete the application form by filing out the correct details.
(4) Upload the required documents in correct format.
(5) Pay the application fees if applicable through online portal using debit card or credit card or net banking etc.
(6) Review and submit the application. Take a print out for future reference.
Documents Required:
The important documents required during this hiring process as well as application process are given below:
(1) Proof of date of birth (SSC/Matriculation/10th certificate or DOB Certificate).
(2) Proof of Essential educational i.e. SSC/Matriculation/10th pass Mark sheet & Certificate.
(3) Consolidated ITI Mark Sheet of all semesters of the trade in which applied/Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks.
(4) National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT with mark sheet as the case may be prescribed for trade.
(5) In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM etc Certificate in prescribed format as per Annexure available on RRC website i.e. www.rrcnr.org.
(6) Disability Certificate, in case of PwBD Applicants.
(7) Discharge certificate/serving certificate, in case of applicants applied against Ex-servicemen quota.
Selection Process
The selection process for RRC NR Apprentice Recruitment involves the below given steps:
(1) Merit List: The shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of SSC marks and ITI marks obtained by the candidates.
(2) Document Verification: If candidates are shortlisted then they will be called for document verification process.
(3) Medical Examination: If document verification is successful then candidates have to go through medical examination to ensure that they are fit for the job.
(4) Final Selection: The final selection will be based on the merit list, document verification, and medical examination results.
