Age Limit Railway Recruitment 2024
Candidates age should not be less than 15 years and not more than 24 years as on 12th June 2024. In case of SC/ST (SC,ST) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.(OBC) Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates. Maximum age relaxation is 10 years for disabled candidates.

Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- as registration fee for the said post. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Disabled (PwBD)/Female candidates are exempted from paying fees.( SC/ST/Divyang (PwBD)/Women candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.)

PCMC Recruitment 2024 Method of Selection
Selection of eligible students depend on the merit list of Matric. It will be based on average percentage secured by the candidates in Matric and ITI Examination. Candidates may be able to select the location of job. For the document verification you will need Medical Certificate,4 passport size photographs, all original certifications and testimonials and their photocopies as the same. After document verification, eligible candidates will start training in their allotted class/unit.
Other Terms for Applying PCMC Recruitment 2024
- Advocacy in any form for selection will be considered disqualification.
- Candidates called for document verification shall not be entitled to travel/expense allowance, lodging and accommodation. All expenses will not be paid.
- Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for Apprenticeship based on this notification.
- Apprenticeship of selected candidates will be based on their registration in RDAT/Kanpur.
- Selected candidates shall execute the membership agreement under the ASI Act, 1961 and if the applicant is a minor, his parent/guardian shall execute the prescribed agreement.
- If a trainee ceases training without valid reason as per his/her contract and if he/she fails to perform his/her duties, he/she shall be liable to forfeit the stipend and tuition provided by the Railway Administration, expenses and such other expenses as may be determined under the rules.
