Eligibility Criteria: MH SET 2025 Exam Date
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their post-graduation in a relevant subject.
Subject Restrictions: Candidates can only appear for the MH SET Exam in the subject of their post-graduation (e.g., Commerce: M.Com., Environmental Science: M.Sc. Env. Sci., Life Science: M.Sc. Life Science/Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology, Home Science: M.Sc., M.A. Home Science).
Percentage Requirements:
- General Category: At least 55% marks (without gracing or rounding off).
- Reserved Categories (OBC/SBC/DT(VJ)/NT (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/Transgender/PwD/Orphans): At least 50% marks (without gracing or rounding off).
Reappearance: Candidates who have already qualified for SET in a particular subject cannot reappear in the same subject.
Age Limit
- No Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply online for the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test.

Exam Pattern
- Paper 1: Evaluates reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. Each question carries two marks.
- Paper 2: Focuses on the candidate’s chosen subject and includes 100 objective-type questions, each worth two marks.
- Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.
Cut-off Scores
- General, EWS, OBC: 40% overall in both papers.
- SC, ST, PwD, Transgender, Orphans: 35% overall in both papers

MH SET 2025 Exam Syllabus

The MH SET 2025 exam consists of two papers:
Paper 1:
- Purpose: Evaluates general aptitude.
