The post-wise eligibility criteria for Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) Recruitment 2024 is given below:
1) AM (Generalist) : Graduation with 60% Marks
2) AM (Actuarial): Graduation with 60% Marks + 7 Paper Passed of IAI
3) AM (Finance): Graduation with 60% Marks + ACA/ AICWA/ ACMA/ ACS/ CFA
4) AM (Law): Degree in Law (LLB) with 60% Marks
5) AM (IT): B.Tech or PG in CS/ IT/ EE/ ECE with 60% Marks
6) AM (Research): PG in Economics/ Statistics with 60% Marks

Selection Process
The selection process of the IRDAI Assistant Manager Recruitment 2024 includes various stages like the Prelims Written Exam, Mains Written Exam, Interview, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
Prelims Written Exam: The exam is computer based test (CBT) The subjects includes English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness.
The Duration for the exam is 1hr 60 minutes.

Mains Written Exam (Descriptive): The mains exam will be online too. The sections in this exam includes English languages (Essay, Precis, and Comprehension), Economic and Social Issues impacting Insurance, Insurance and Management. Total marks will be 300. Negative marking of 0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer will be there.
Interview: The shortlisted candidates from above exams will have to appear for the interview. It can be online or in-person. The maximum marks for interview is 50. The purpose of the interview is to evaluate the communication skill, personality, and overall suitability of the candidate.
Document Verification: All the candidates selected in the interview will have to go through the document verification process. All the documents like educational qualifications and identity etc will be verified in this stage.
Medical Examination: The candidates will have to go through the medical examination in order to see if they are fit for the job role and responsibilities. Its a standard medical check-up conducted by a designated medical board.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the Mains exam and the Interview. Prelims marks are usually for qualifying purposes and do not contribute to the final ranking.
IRDAI Recruitment 2024 Salary and Benefits:
(1) The initial basic pay for an Assistant Manager is approximately ₹44,500 per month in the pay scale of ₹44,500 – ₹89,150.
(2) The total gross salary, including allowances, is generally in the range of ₹1,10,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month.
(3) Dearness Allowance (DA): This is revised quarterly based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and forms a significant part of the salary.
(4) House Rent Allowance (HRA): This varies depending on the location of the posting (30% of basic pay in metros, 20% in other cities).
(5) City Compensatory Allowance (CCA): This is provided based on the city of posting
(6) Special Allowance: Additional allowances specific to the job and location.
(7) Provident Fund: Contributions are made to the Provident Fund as per the government rules.
(8) Gratuity, Medical Benefits, LTC, Insurance coverage and many more perks are available for this job role.
